Privacy is very important to Pioneer Industries, Inc. (“Pioneer”). This Privacy Policy explains Pioneer’s online information practices and the types of information collected from this website (“Site”), what is done with that information, and any other information voluntarily provided by users through Site, or by other means, as well as how that information can be accessed and edited by users.

This Privacy Policy solely applies to and sets forth Pioneer’s practices for collection and use of information on Site. It does not apply to information users might provide on another site operated by Pioneer, or one of Pioneer’s partners or affiliates, nor does it apply to information users may provide to Pioneer through other means, i.e. offline or through electronic mail.

Information Collected

Account Information.  When establishing an account with our Site, you may provide us with personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”).  Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

Usage Data.  Besides the Personal information, we may also collect other information regarding your activity during your use of the Site including, but not limited to, session duration, time between sessions, searches made during a session, actions taken, log in time, log out time, and other behavioral data (collectively, “Usage Information”).  For example, the Usage Information may be Internet-related information collected from users from Site may include referring URL (Uniform Resource Locator), IP address, type of browser used to arrive at Site, specific location (country, state or province), pages of Site viewed during visit, and any search terms entered on Site for purposes of system administration, gathering broad demographic information, and monitoring activity levels on Site. How Information Is Used

For personal data that is subject to General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), we rely on several legal bases to process your data, which include (i) when you have given consent, which you may withdraw at any time by sending an email to [email protected]; (ii) when data processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, such as the Terms of Use , and (iii) our legitimate business interests, such as improving and personalizing the services, marketing new products that may be of  interest to you, and promoting safety and security of our services and our users.

Pioneer may on occasion combine information collected with additional records (such as information from affiliated companies, partners, distributors, or outside vendors, and publicly available information, including on social media sites).  The combined information may be used for purposes such as to market products, features, or services that may be of interest to you, or for research and analytics.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Pioneer may share your information: (i) where your consent is obtained, such as when you choose to opt-in to the sharing of data; (ii) with vendors and service providers retained in connection with provision of the services on the Site, such as order fulfillment, package delivery, and for data analytics purposes (iii) to comply with law enforcement requests and legal process (such as a court order or subpoena) legal action or law enforcement (“Legal Reasons”); (iv) to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our  Terms of USE or our other policies or agreements; (v) respond to your requests; (vi) protect Pioneer’s, your, or others’ legal rights and/or property (“Prevent Harm”); or (vii) if Pioneer is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, in which case the use of your information will be governed by the provisions of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time Pioneer collected such information.

How to Access or Modify Personal Information

Users have the right to access, edit and maintain personal information collected from Site. If registered with Site, stored personal information may be accessed by visiting “My Account” on Site, or contacting Pioneer at [email protected] providing exact name and address, user name or ID (if applicable) and detailed request. This procedure is used to better safeguard personal information. To protect users’ privacy and security, Pioneer will also take reasonable steps to verify identities before granting access or making corrections.

If you live in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (“Designated Region”), you have several legal rights regarding your information as discussed below.

Accessing and Exporting Data.  By sending an email to [email protected], you may request your Personal Information and you can also download your Personal Information in a common file format.

Editing and Deleting Data.  By sending an email to [email protected], you can change or delete your Personal Information.  Additionally, you may delete your account if you wish.  If you choose to delete your account, most of your information will be deleted within 30 days, but it may take longer to delete all your data and other data stored in our backup systems due to size and complexity of our systems used to store data.

Objecting or Restricting Data Use.  In your account settings, you have options to control our use of your data .  You may limit the notifications or emails you receive from us.  Please note that should you opt-out of receiving notifications or emails from us, you will still receive administrative messages from us.

If you live in a Designated Region, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal information based on our legitimate interests and the right to object to the use of your information for direct marketing purposes.  You may control our marketing communications to you by accessing your account settings.  Additionally, you should review our Cookies and Tracking Technologies  section for your options to control how we and our partners use cookies and other technologies for advertising.  If you no longer wish to use Pioneer’s services or receive service-related messages, then you may close your account.

Site Providers, Business Partners and Others

Pioneer does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable.  Pioneer is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the Pioneer site.  We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

We may employ third party service providers to facilitate our service, to provide service on our behalf, to perform website related services (including but not limited to maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of Pioneer’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how our website and service are used and can be improved. These third parties may have access to your Personal Information only for purposes of performing these tasks on our behalf.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

Pioneer must cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law.  In the event of a claim and/or legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Pioneer or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any activity we may consider to pose a risk of being illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable, we reserve the right to disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we in our sole discretion find necessary or appropriate.

Business Transfers

In the event of a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, Pioneer may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, and your Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.  To the maximum extent allowable by law, the Privacy Policy will apply to the User information as transferred to the successor entity.  However, User information submitted after a transfer to a successor entity may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor entity.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us.  Your Pioneer account information is protected by a password.   It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your account and information by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and computer secure by signing out after using our services.  Each password owner is responsible for keeping the password confidential and safe, as Pioneer has no control or responsibility for this type of user information.  You agree not to disclose or share your user information and/or password with any third party.  You are responsible for any activity using your account, whether or not You authorize that activity.  Please immediately notify Pioneer of any unauthorized use of your account.

Pioneer follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once Pioneer receives it.  No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.  Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Your data may be lost during transmission or may be accessed by unauthorized parties.  We do not accept any liability for direct or indirect losses as regards the security of your Personal Information or data during its transfer over the Internet.

How Personal Information Is Secured and Stored

Because privacy is important to Pioneer, safeguards have been installed to secure personal information collected online. The Site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator/Communicator, and other popular browsers to protect online transactions. SSL encrypts information such as credit card numbers, names, addresses, and phone numbers before transmitted over the Internet. Additional technologies and measures are used to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure appropriate use of information.

Personal information will be kept in databases held on servers kept in physically and technologically secure environments located in California, accessed only by authorized personnel or contractors required to keep information confidential. Internal procedures are in place to confirm general company compliance with this policy. By providing information, users are consenting to the transfer of information to Pioneer, located in the State of California, United States of America. Although Pioneer will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of all personal information collected, Pioneer will not be liable for disclosure of personal information obtained due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Pioneer uses a variety of technologies to help us better understand how people use the Site.

Cookies and Pixel Tags

“Cookies” are website data either written to one’s hard drive or stored in one’s browser upon accessing websites. These data files contain information websites use to organize pages accessed. Pioneer may use “cookie” technology to measure site activity and tailor information to fit users’ personal interests the next visit to Site. Pioneer’s use of “cookie” technology is to provide a more individualized delivery of information and an optimal viewing experience.

“Pixel tags” are small, graphic files that allow websites to monitor website usage. Pixel tags can collect information such as IP (Internet Protocol) addresses of computers that download pages on which tags appear; URLs of pages on which pixel tags appear; the time pages containing pixel tags were viewed; type of browser that fetched the pixel tag; and the identification number of any “cookie(s)” on computers previously placed by that server. When corresponding with users via HTML capable email, Pioneer may use “format sensing” technology, which allows pixel tags to monitor whether sent email was received and opened.

Our Policy toward Children

The Site is not directed to nor is it intended for children under 18 years of age.  We do not knowingly collect or maintain information at the Site from those persons known to be under 18.  If we become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.  Before providing name, address, e-mail address or any other personal information, children should ask parents or guardian for permission.

International Privacy Laws

If you are visiting Pioneer from outside of the United States, please be aware that you are sending information (including personal data) to the United States, where our servers are located. That information may then be transferred within the United States or back out of the United States to other countries outside of your country of residence, depending on the type of information and how it is stored by us. Please be aware that Pioneer exercises no authority or control over third parties, and cannot be and is not responsible for any information submitted at that website.

Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California can obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year.
